The Planet, also referred to as Subject III, is the third planet away from the sun and the only remaining habitable terrestrial planet in the Home System.
It was originally the homeworld of the Human species but has since become the home planet of three other humanoid species who have joined with Humanity in an inter-species Alliance and lived in peace together while it has also recently become partially occupied by the Corrupted Collective.

Since the formation of the Alliance, the planet's acting administrative body is shared between two connected groups.
One is the appointed Alliance Government which is made up of Governors who serve as leaders of the separate countries on the planet after being voted by the population of that specific country while the second, and ultimate authority, is The Council which has one representative of each species to oversee the established Government.

- In some original plans for the series that would become "Tales Of The Corruption", there were to be several habitable planets but this was changed when the writer decided he wanted to focus mostly on a single planet and explore it in-detail rather than exploring only parts of several different planets in total.
